I'm not just a children's author, but I'm also a parent. That's why I was intrigued by a Motherhood and Parenting writing position with MomSquawk, a website that delivers news, information and a community for new and expecting mothers. We all know the goal of parenting is simple — to raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted kids. But the road from here to there is anything but simple. That's why I hope to get the chance to share info and life in the trenches with other moms.
My mission which I accepted was to write an essay about an important lesson I've learned or personal insight I've gained from being a parent.
In other words, comments = a paying writing gig for moi!
As a way to thank you for helping this writer get work, I will enter you into my book GIVEAWAY--this prize pack full of Vampire YA novels...
The Vampire Diaries: The Return: Shadow Souls
The Vampire Diaries: The Return: Midnight
Vampire Crush
Alex Van Helsing: Vampire Rising
**UPDATE: This Giveaway has ended. A big congrats to Maggie who won the novels and Laura who won the bonus Book Bugz Subscriber picture book giveaway! Thanks so much to everyone who entered and left a comment at MomSquawk. Although I didn't have enough comments and likes to pull in the win, it was such a great experience and I was able to connect with many of you who follow--your support is greatly appreciated!! Thank you! =)
To enter giveaway, please like MomSquawk on facebook then leave a comment on my essay titled "Changes."
(If we're not connected on Facebook, make sure you leave a comment here with your email address, so I can get in touch with you if you win!)
Giveaway closes at midnight on Wednesday, April 20th and is available to US and Canada Only. Winner will be chosen whether I get the gig or not! Here's wishing all of us a whole lot of luck!

ReplyDeleteThat's ok, Patricia. Thanks so much for stopping by. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough comments and likes to pull in the win, but it was a fun experience and I was so impressed by those who left comments. It really is amazing how many friends you can make online!
ReplyDeleteThx again!
