Celebrate Poetry Month with Dizzy Dinosaurs: Silly Dino Poems

Dizzy Dinosaurs: Silly Dino Poems (I Can Read Book 2)In honor of Poetry month, I couldn't wait to check out Dizzy Dinosaurs: Silly Dino Poems (I Can Read Book 2).

This is the perfect book for your developing reader as it's a collection of poems all about dinosaurs and each one is silly, humorous and sure to dino-delight. The illustrations by Barry Gott are amazing. There's nothing like catching a glimpse of dinos on bikes, skateboards and even coming out of their bath.

A bunch of amazing authors such as Laura Purdie Salas and Marilyn Singer have contributed and they've all been selected by Lee Bennett Hopkins, one of the country's foremost spokespersons for children's poetry.

If you're looking for the right way to celebrate National Poetry Month, this is it!
