For even the fanciest of Fancy Nancy fans

Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion BoutiqueI'm probably the last person on Earth who hadn't read a Fancy Nancy book. Hey, get off my back--I have two boys. Ask me anything about super heroes, dinosaurs and trucks and I'm there, but let the truth be told, I had never experienced Fancy Nancy until Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique.

In this installment of the popular series, Nancy opens a fabulous fashion boutique right in her front yard, so she can raise money to buy a beautiful fan. The fashion boutique is a huge success, but it's also Nancy's little sister's birthday and her sister has her eyes set on a rhinestone necklace (that's fancy for genuine fake diamonds). But when the necklace is sold, what will Nancy do to make her little sister's birthday a blast?

I can see why girls are mesmerized with these books--The illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser are priceless and Nancy's voice draws you in from the start. Fans of the series will enjoy finally finding out Nancy's little sister's name and the positive message of being unselfish, and putting family first will ring true for even the fanciest of Fancy Nancy fans!
