Splat the Cat is a scaredy-cat

Scaredy-Cat, Splat! (Splat the Cat)Halloween is right around the corner, which means it's time to read some fun Halloween children's books that will get children in the trick-or-treat kind of mood.

One book sure to do just that is Scaredy-Cat, Splat! (Splat the Cat). Rob Scotton's loveable character is back in this Halloween edition, sure to delight. But how's Splat going to be the scariest cat in the class when he's too much of a scaredy-cat?

When Splat sees the other cats' costumes, he becomes disappointed, certain their costumes are scarier than his. But things get exciting when the teacher, Mrs. Wipydimple turns down the lights and tells a ghost story. Splat is so startled, he whips his tail and what happens next is sure to help Splat in his quest to win the prize for being the scariest cat of all.

This is a great addition to any child's Halloween collection. Not only will children will get a good laugh out of this entertaining story, but they'll be mesmerized with Scotton's signature illustrations. So much so that kids will want to reach out and pet Splat on each page.
