Check out today's Book Bites for Kids!

In case you missed today's Book Bites for Kids, you can still listen to the recording using the player below.

I'm honored to be the featured author and had a wonderful time talking to Suzanne Lieurance about my new picture book, The Bug That Plagued the Entire Third Grade, my path to publication, writing for children, and much more.

It's amazing how fast a half hour can fly by!

  1. Hi, Lori. I met you through my young friend Tamara Heiner. And I'm delighted to find you. I was a young mother once and was very grateful when Dr. Seuss came on the scene. Your title sounds every bit as titillating as his titles. The bug that Plagued the Entire Third Grade. I have a new little grandson who will be reading such delightful stories not too far down the road. I'm going to look this one up.

  2. Lori, I just posted an award for you on my blog, if you'd like to claim it.

  3. Ann,

Tamara is so great isn't she? We met each other through Indie Debut and I just wish her all the best with her new book.

I think every parent is grateful for Dr. Seuss and you can't tell me that there isn't a need for fun, rhyming picture books right now. They're such a staple of childhood and I hope your grandson eats them up and has fun with them! :)

Thank you so much for the award. It's greatly appreciated!

    Have a great day,
