Bejamin Middlemouse lives with his mother, but one day when Mrs. Middlemouse goes out to run some errands and doesn't return, Benjamin's adventure begins. He finds his friend bumper, an elephant, and loads everything they might need for a search-and-rescue mission.
When they ask the Pantrymice if they've seen Benjamin's mother, they're warned that Sir Pouncelot is on the prowl and he's hunting mice and moles to put in his favorite dish. Their search leads them to Sir Pouncelot's castle where they find Benjamin's mother locked in a cage!
Can the amazing duo come to the rescue?
Benjamin and Bumper may be an unlikely team of a mouse and a elephant, but the duo make for a beautiful children's book. What really makes this book amazing are the photographs of incredibly detailed dioramas along with the adorable felted wool characters that will make their way into children's hearts.
A second book, Posie and the Pirates is scheduled for publication in early fall 2012 and features Benjamin's friend, Posie Pantrymouse.
